A brief descent into the dorky world of role playing games. The Origins Awards (which can be quirky) just awarded role playing game of the year to Mouseguard (a game where the players are sentient mice in a three musketeers sort of world). This is significant (and pleasing to me) because the competition was a little game you might have heard of called 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons. Talk about David beating Goliath! I make no bones about it. I’m fascinated with magical items in any setting. I like making up curses to place on magical items.
